OK. So I much prefer your shot of Eiffel to mine posted for today. Tight crops like this are how I prefer to shoot. My shot was an obligatory tourist shot with a snapshot cam as I didn't yet have my Canon.

Love the colors and the crop.

@Amir: Many thanks Amir. Don't worry. Your tourist photo as you say, is necessary to keep a global view for souvenir. I have some of this kind. As I live in Paris, I can choose as I want an angle, according to the specific decor or light scenery made for an event. Rugby World Cup is a new opportunity. With a distance of 4,350 miles, it's not easy for you to do the same ! ;)

Hamster from Versonnex, France

Very interesting angle, as if I was there!

Ooo! a really nice shot! I love that Green light!
We are visiting Paris sometime in October, (only for a night stop over from Italy) really must get to see this glorious city at night.

19 Sep 2007 5:12pm

@MaryB: Thanks Mary.
Let me know your date. I will have a great pleasure to bring you by car around some famous places ! One night is too short to use public transport. I send you an email to precise my proposition.

Philippe from France

Bien vu !

Raziel from Tehran, Iran

nice PP!

28 Sep 2007 7:09pm

@Raziel: If you mean PP by Post Processing, it's not. It's the true color of the Eiffel Tower during the World Cup time. This color is made by green filters placed on the classic lights, plus some more new lights under the Eiffel Tower.
