I reviewed your portfolio and I must say you are doing such a great job of assembling wonderful compositions and costuming, but your lighting is flat in most of your shots. Remember, photography is the art of capturing light. Pay greater attention to it. In the above shot, this shot could have had an incredible feel if you would have turned of the flash off and had her face the light at the top. It would have been a longer exposure, but the drama would have been stronger. In some of your shots, the scenery is great and the costuming is great, but it is the wrong time of day to shoot there because everything is in shadow. I think your matrix meter is making your photos flat. Again, I think you have a great eye for costuming, positioning and background, now I would just like to see you utilizing better lighting/exposure settings. I hope this helps.
It's all about interpretation! A beautiful girl, wonderful background, CLEVER lighting! This series of shots work perfectly, so please don't change your method. :-)
